 Man, I have (till now !!!) three pair of ProAc's !!! The tiny one's (the miraculous and overwhelming speaker's !!!...) are maybe too tiny's for the Coltrane's... but the big one's that you've listen, are Queens in a world where Marten's are simple people ... But in terms of sensitive and honesty, the Marten's are wore's and the tiny's angel's of Eden garden !!!...  .........................................................................................  | |

| Let's talk about amplifiers. The Schwarz amplifier seems to be very good, but a good amp is timeless while the digital audio in some years will be quite different to today (network technology, file formats etc.). So I would hesitate to invest so much money in a technology which soon may be outdated. An integrated DAC - o.k., but integrated network technology???

Manfred, I said that was a fine and cool listening session, I've never said that Schwarz was the last word on amplification that I've heard... Anyway, actually everybody want's to imagine the XXI century integrated amplifier, so Devialet have is own vision, Peachtree also, even me !!!... so Schwarz done their's !!!, and only the future will tell who is right, and with the actual audiochaos, maybe everybody is right at the end !!!... So, you're right in your doubts of course... but the market thinks about today and not yesterday or tomorrow... Because life is short, tomorrow uncertain and the best is always to come... All of this is cynical and marketed... but as always, at the end there's a little bit of true on all this !!!  So, if you want an advice !!!... learn how to deal with the trilogy hear/feel/chose ... and all the rest will be easy... I think that you know about what I'm talking ...  | |
